Real Bride: Diana
Updated: Aug 6, 2019
We LOVE our brides, but when one of our own gets married that is extra special! Recently one of the models we work with regularly, Diana, got married! And she had the picture perfect day at the Bel-Air Bay Club marrying her hubby, CJ.
And just to make sure we got the full scoop on her wedding day, we asked her a few questions!
First, let's start off on when this love affair between us and Diana commenced,
What started the relationship between you and our company?
"I first started working with KW as a model almost 2 years ago for their in-house shows, and in-house gown fittings/alternations. Its been very fascinating being behind the scenes and learning about the wedding dress designing process. Seeing what goes into the final details before it goes into the mass market, and the work of editing just one dress is remarkable at KW, very precise!"
Well being a model don't you try on dresses everyday? What made you want to wear one of our gowns for your big day? Specifically why you chose style BE456?
" Being a model, I’ve worked with so many designers, and probably tried on 1000+ gowns over my years in the modeling industry. When you put on wedding dresses that many times in your life, there are only a few that make you feel special, that give you that “feeling." When I tried on BE456 it just felt right. Style BE456 was my ceremony/dinner dress. It was the dress I wanted to walk down the aisle in, I wanted something that was extremely comfortable, light and dreamy. The bead work on it was super delicate and intricate. It was magical. When I put on that dress, straight away I felt like I was floating. I would always go back to that dress even after considering others."
Tell us a little more about the details of your wedding day?! Where and when did it all go down?
"Sunset. September 21/2018, in Malibu at the Bel-Air Bay Club. The view was overlooking the beach, along the coastline, so naturally we were going to a have a bit of a beach vibe. We went for a very dreamy, romantic, sunset theme with a ukulele player singing as guests arrived. Lots of candles, lanterns, with different shades of blush, sand roses and wildflowers.
Ugh, it sounds just absolutely romantic and dreamy. Tell us more about your man, CJ!
" Sounds cheesy but when you know, you know. I never really knew what people meant when they said that, until I met CJ. It really is marrying your best friend, and partner in crime with whom you want to go through life challenges with. Our relationship progressed naturally very fast early on, we found ourselves spending every moment we had with one another. I do think there was a moment in time for me, where there was a “click” when i felt that i would marry him. It was on the beach in Santa Monica, it was a sunny afternoon, and we were just laughing for hours, not doing anything in particular, having the best time, enjoying each others company. We balance each other out really well." Well we couldn't be MORE happy for you Diana! We love a good happily ever after, and it seems you have found yours with CJ! We wish you two a lifetime of love and memories.
