Stylized Shoot in Wiltshire, UK

We love organizing stylized shoots, but when one of our retailers plans a shoot, it makes it extra special that they chose our dresses to be featured! Recently we came across a FABULOUS shoot on social media from our retailer, Maria Christina, located in Wiltshire, UK. So when seeing the images we obviously had to get our hands on them. Then we interviewed, Maria, the owner of the boutique about the shoot...

Maria, what was your role in this shoot?

"I organised the shoot as l was approached by Lucknam Park asking if we would like to use the venue for a photo shoot. They said they’d like to use any photos on their social media as well as for their website."

What made you choose the two styles you selected for this shoot? 1820dt & 1838

"I went to view the venue and asked Kate [the photographer] if she would be interested in taking the photos as such a fabulous venue, and she is very easy to work with. She came along to see what we could come up with. For me, showcasing a new collection that would be available in my boutique was my priority, so after seeing the Kenneth Winston collections in Barcelona & London I decided these two gowns would be perfect."

What was the concept for this shoot?

"Firstly to use local businesses. We met up with Lewis the events manager and discussed a few ideas; we all agreed on the horses as they are a big part of the venue and brides love to involve their animals/pets (especially dogs and horses). I was very fortunate to bump into a friend who kept her horse at Lucknam, once I met her horse, the lovely Zebedee I knew he would be perfect, and such a gentle soul. Neither models had ridden before and they worked well together. The other idea was a same-sex wedding as we felt it would be a stunning backdrop for the brides, both models were very happy with the idea and I think it shows in the photos. For me to see two gowns by the same designer side by side but very different in style really compliments not only the shape but can show a bride you can do something different so long as the style suits the bride."

What were you thoughts overall of the shoot and how it went?

"The shoot was a lot of work but I feel all the suppliers worked really well together and understood what we wanted to achieve and I am really pleased with the results, we have had some amazing feedback already and I think the photos speak for themselves."
